So over the weekend my family and I made a big decision….drumroll please….
We went and purchased a 1970 Serro Scotty Sportsman…and we named her “Cricket” and by “we” I mean my oldest daughter Taegan 🙂
Isn’t she the cutest little thing! She is 13ft long but her inside box is only 10ft. She’s just under 8ft tall and weighs less than 1,000 pounds.
We are going to be restoring her over the next month or so and I will be blogging about our journey along the way.
You are probably wondering “what in the world do you want with an old vintage trailer?” Well if you know anything about me, then you know that in another lifetime I was probably a Hippie, and this girl loves all things vintage!
I am also a photographer who has a love for decorating and coming up with new concepts for photoshoots, so this was a NO BRAINER for our family. Â After she is restored we will be renting her out to local photographers for styled shoots, mini sessions, and hopefully… fingers crossed we’d like to rent her out for weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, etc.
Please go and give her instagram page a follow @cruisinwithcricket so you can follow this journey with us, it’s going to be a wild one!
What are our next steps? PAINTING! She will be getting a fresh coat of paint in the next 2 weeks and I can’t wait to do a reveal.
Stay tuned!
